mr drs. C.J. Ullersma (Corrien)

Corrien Ullersma specializes in migration law, more in particular in procedures for clients who want to bring their partner, children or relatives to the Netherlands (family reunification). She publishes regularly on this subject, and advises and represents clients applying for residence permits for work, study or medical treatment. Corrien also has extensive experience with naturalization cases, such as passport applications, and procedures concerning short stay visa.

Corrien studied Law (cum laude) and Economics at the Free University of Amsterdam (VU) and Université Paris I (Sorbonne), and speaks English and French. She was called to the bar in 2008. Before she became a lawyer, Corrien worked for the Immigration and Asylum Department of the Court of Amsterdam.

Corrien is a member of the national Working Group for Legal Aid in Immigration and Asylum Cases and one of the members of the editorial board of the youth law journal Jeugdrecht in de Praktijk.
